Hay nets mesh 6cm and larger

On this page you will find all hay nets with a mesh of 6 cm and larger. Hay nets with a mesh of 6 cm no longer have a retarding effect. You can use them well to prevent waste or blowing away, but also to create various feeding stations.

Eating from a mesh of 6 cm or larger puts the least strain on the horse's musculoskeletal system. A horse has to put in less effort and pull and pluck less hard.

A hay net with this mesh size therefore also gives you the possibility to work with variable feeding positions (Passive Physio®) so that you can train your horse in a passive way and let it use its body as it would in nature. This allows you to reduce skewness and reduce the chance of injuries. In general, it is of course important that the hay you feed is of good quality, but if you have a horse that quickly becomes too fat and also want to let it eat from this mesh, then the quality and a low sugar content are extra important.

From our own brand you will find a large diversity of types of nets, so that you can find a good solution for every situation. Larger portions can be given in a pallet box, possibly in combination with an extra large hay cushion 'PaardEerlijk Pillow Long' or a DIY-Slowfeeder rack. For smaller portions you can choose from one of the other variations.

Passive Physio®

Do you want to know more about Passive Physio® and using variable feed positions and how to apply that. Then download here a free eBook by Femke Dölle, The Expert in the field of Passive Physio®.

Now passive physio® is more than just applying variable feeding positions but also being able to recognize discomforts in your horse and how you can respond to them through feeding positioning. Not every position is always desirable or helpful. Preventing stress in the herd is also important and at the same time you also want to stimulate movement.

Would you like to learn everything about how to apply this in detail so that your horse really becomes healthier? Then take a look at here all information about the course, "Train your horse without training" developed by Femke Dölle.
